Kazakhstan has increased its exports of agricultural products to China

The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kazakhstan, Zhang Xiao.

 

Saparov emphasized that agriculture cooperation is a crucial aspect of the relationship between Kazakhstan and China, as evidenced by the increasing trade in agricultural products between the two countries.

 

In 2023, the trade turnover of agricultural products increased by 1.6 times, reaching over 1.3 billion dollars. Additionally, there has been a recent increase in demand for organic and environmentally friendly Kazakh agricultural products in China. Agricultural exports to China also nearly doubled in 2023, reaching 1.01 billion dollars.
